BOK Center, which is three cars and a half hours' from the Kansas campus in Lawrence, has been stuck on the blue dress of Jayhawks fans. They were happy at the beginning of the game, as Kansas was reflected in the No. 1 seed, but there was a lot of concern, because the Illini will not go away easily.

It was the first Kansas coach Bill Self has faced Illinois, his former team since leaving after the season 2003-4.
